My top 10 favourite sites to submit free crochet patterns

If you are a crochet designer, you just can't publish your designs on blog and sit there, wait for others to discover your lovely freebies. 

Over one year, I have been sharing my free crochet patterns around and this is a short list of popular crochet websites that helped my creations get more exposure as well as brought a lot of traffic to my blog. These sites are not very tricky so if you are new to the industry, forget the worry of having a masterpiece to get your things out there. 

Crochet Pattern Central
This is a crochet pattern directory site that brings massive traffic to my free patterns so far. Send the website owner an email and your free patterns will be listed there easily.

2000 Free Amigurumi Patterns
If you love to make free Amigurumi patterns, this site is for you. They also have other categories for other crochet projects. Send them an email with links to your free patterns, that's all.

Ravelry
A very popular site for crocheters and knitters. Add images of the patterns with details and link back to your original post or just post the whole pattern there. You can also sell your pdf crochet patterns with a low charge.

Craftsy
What a lovely site for crafters! Have your profile page there, list your free crochet patterns and other craft projects on. Sell your pdf patterns for FREE of charge.

The Yarn Box 
A new crochet pattern directory for crochet designers. Make an account and add your free crochet patterns by filling a simple form. I like their template.

Crochet At Play 
This is also a new crochet pattern directory site. Submission is easy and you can have a designer page there.

Free Indie Crochet Patterns
Free crochet pattern directory for indie crochet designers. Send  Rhelena - the site owner an email and she'll get back to you.

Crochet Pattern Bonanza 
From the same owner of Free Indie Crochet Patterns. The site has various categories including tips for Making Money with Crocheting. Being featured is worth! 

Crochet Me
Post image of your free pattern at Free Resources section and link back to the original post. I have quite a few pageviews from there. 

Crochet Talk
This is a forum, like the name it's all about crochet enthusiam. I used to share my free crochet patterns in their Links and Resources section. People are so nice and friendly there, you'll see.
