It's been a few months since I started this blog. As my first blog, I'm excited with my " crafting journey" so far. It's a bless when I don't have to wait for retirement to start something that I really want to do, something I call " a passion".

Now let's celebrate a new year with this kawaii pattern.
Materials:
5mm crochet hook
Yarn: green, red, pink....
Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
Sc = Single crochet
Ch = Chain
Sl = Slip stitch
Inc = Increase
Dec = Decrease
Tc = Triple crochet
Dc = Double crochet
Inc tc = 2 triple crochet in same stitch
Inc dc = 2 double crochet in same stitch
Hdc= half double crochet
Dec hdc= half double crochet 2 stitches together
Inc hdc= 2 half double crochet in same stitch
Rose:
Make a chain of 39, crochet 4 dc into the 3rd chain from hook,
Skip 2 chain, crochet 5 dc into the next chain ( repeat 'till end)
Turn, ch 3, crochet 2 dc into next st ( repeat 3 times), ch 3, sl into next st to join ( you have just finish a petal now)
Sl into next st, ch 3, crochet 2 dc into next st ( repeat 3 times), ch 3, sl into next st to join ( repeat 'till end) ( fasten off, leave long end for sewing)
A finished rose has 12 petals.
Roll the first petal, hold it tight then wrap the next petals around.
Make it abit looser each round, dispart the petals for a better result.
Sew the petals together.
Leaf:
Ch 11, sc into 2nd chain from hook, hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, hdc, sc
Turn, sc, hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, hdc, sc ( fasten off)
Attach to the rose.
