Lately, I had a chance to improve my crochet skills with a fabulous and free Craftsy class: Amazing Crochet Textures: Ribbing, Cables & Beads.
free Craftsy crochet class
As you may know Craftsy has been offering  professional online classes, both free and paid. (I talked about their free mini classes before in one of my posts. Have you ever tried out?) In this post I’d love to share with you all my great experience about this crochet class.

Let’s dive into their new free crochet class, taught by Drew Emborsky aka Crochet Dude. A free crochet class that I’m sure you don’t want to miss.
Amazing crochet textures, like what is stated, you will learn how to create amazing textures for any of your crochet projects. Furthermore, there are crochet skills which I really enjoy to learn all in one place - this 45 mins “mini” free class.

Drew, with a straight forward and friendly teaching style, offers 3 beautiful crochet patterns and shows you how to:
  • Start a chainless foundation: no more chain counting.
  • Cable stitches: get to learn the post stitches (fpdc, bpdc)
  • Read charts: tips to follow crochet charts properly
  • Add beads: this part is my favorite one, adding beads as a way to create textures for your crochet projects! (Adding beads as you go: no threading beads onto yarn before you start)
  • Blocking and joining: give your crochet projects finishing touches by great tips of blocking and join as you go technique.
So why don’t you try out this online Craftsy class? Watch it at your own pace, anywhere, anytime, add note, join the discussion with other crocheters, download e-learning pdf files, rewatch… and the best part is you don’t have to spend a dime to get this front-row seat with HD video lesson.
Sign up for this class for free , grab your crochet hook, time to level up your skills :)
