Dc = Double crochet Dec hdc= Half double crochet 2 stitches together
Inc hdc= 2 half double crochet in same stitch
Inc dc = 2 double crochet in same stitch
Dec dc = Double crochet 2 stitches together
Tc = Triple crochet
Dtc = Double triple crochet
Inc tc = 2 triple crochet in same stitch
Dec tc = Triple crochet 2 stitches together
Fpdc = Front post double crochet

Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each round instead of ch 3. There's another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into same stitch ( counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you'll see I simply state dc for every first dc of each round, so just choose your best technique :)
These slippers are made for size 37 Europe/ 6.5 US. To adjust the size, use bigger or smaller hook, add or reduce one more round from R4 to 7 and R15 to 18.
Slippers: start with color A yarn.
R1: form a magic ring, 9 dc, sl into 1st stitch to join, 9 sts
R2: inc dc, x 9 times, sl into 1st stitch to join, 18 sts
R3: (sc, inc dc), x 9 times, sl into 1st stitch to join, 27 sts
R4 to 7: dc around, sl into 1st stitch to join, 27 sts
R8: change to color B yarn, hdc around, sl into 1st stitch to join, 27 sts
R9,10: hdc around, sl into 1st stitch to join, 27 sts
R11 to 13: change to color A yarn, dc around, sl into 1st stitch to join, 27 sts
R14: crochet 20 dc, turn
R15 to 18: same as R14
R19: inc dc into 1st stitch, 18 dc across, inc dc into last stitch, total 22 sts, turn
R20: dc across, 22 sts
R21 and 22: same as R20
R23: 9 dc, 4 hdc, 9 dc, total 22 sts (fasten off)
Fold the end in half and seam with slip stitch.
Then simply hdc into the space between 2 every stitches for crochet edging.
Personally, I don't like the pointy heel when crocheting this type of slippers so a little adjustment I made from the last row smoothed this.
Mini bow: (make 2) using color B yarn
Form a magic ring, work all into the ring: (ch 3, dc, tc, dc, ch 3, sl into ring) x 2 times, fasten off the ring. Use color A yarn to wrap around the middle.
Attach bows to the slippers and you're done xD
This looks like the perfect slipper I can make for my disabled mother who is not walking and wheelchair bound. I like her to have something on her feet over her socks, and her store bought slippers dont stay on her feet anymore. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of the pattern. Well detailed. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHow do I increase this for a size 8 1/2 shoe? Thank you.
