I like puff-stitch as these stitches always make a soft and cozy look. This slouchy is crocheted by my sis and I think it would be good to share the simple but nice pattern on 'coz I haven't shared any stuffs made for girls yet.
Materials:
5,5mm crochet hook
Yarn: black and violet
Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
Sc = Single crochet
Ch = Chain
Sl = Slip stitch
Inc = Increase
Dec = Decrease
Tc = Triple crochet
Dc = Double crochet
Inc tc = 2 triple crochet in same stitch
Inc dc = 2 double crochet in same stitch
Hdc= half double crochet
Dec hdc= half double crochet 2 stitches together
Inc hdc= 2 half double crochet in same stitch
Start with violet yarn, work with 3 hdc-puff stitch from R1 to R16
R1: magic ring, crochet 3 hdc- puff stitch, 6 puff sts ( Don't fasten off the ring yet, you can make it later)
R2: ch1, 1 puff stitch, inc ( x5),crochet 1 puff-stitch into the first loop of the round, total 12 sts
R3: ch1, 1 puff stitch, (1 puff stitch, inc) x 5, 1 puff stitch, crochet 1 puff-stitch into the first loop of the round, total 18 sts
R4: ch1, 1 puff stitch, (2 puff stitch, inc) x 5, 2 puff stitch, crochet 1 puff-stitch into the first loop of the round, total 24 sts
R5: ch1, 1 puff stitch, (3 puff stitch, inc) x 5, 3 puff stitch, crochet 1 puff-stitch into the first loop of the round, total 30 sts
R6: ch1, 1 puff stitch, (4 puff stitch, inc) x 5, 4 puff stitch, crochet 1 puff-stitch into the first loop of the round, total 36 sts
R7: ch1, 1 puff stitch, (5 puff stitch, inc) x 5, 5 puff stitch, crochet 1 puff-stitch into the first loop of the round, total 42 sts
R8: ch1, 1 puff stitch, (6 puff stitch, inc) x 5, 6 puff stitch, crochet 1 puff-stitch into the first loop of the round, total 48 sts
R9 to R16: crochet puff stitch around, 48 sts
R17: change to black yarn, ch1, crochet 2 hdc into every loop, total 96 sts
R18 to R21: hdc around, 96 sts
R22: sc, dec, 64 sts
R23: hdc , 64 sts
R24 to R27: hdc around, 64 sts
R28: crochet 2 sc into every loop, 128 sts
R29: sc around, 128 sts ( fasten off and weave in end)
