Oggy - free amigurumi pattern

Materials: 
4mm crochet hook
Yarn needle

Scissors

Worsted weight yarn: red, yellow, white , blue, black

Embroidery floss: black

Felt: white, green

1cm safety eyes or black felt

Fiber fill

Sc = single crochet
Sl = slip
Ch = chain
Inc = increase
Dec = decrease
St(s) = stitches

Note: This pattern can be made by any yarn and hook size, just choose a yarn type that matches the hook.

Head: using black and blue yarn
Start with black yarn
R1: magic ring, 8 sc, 8 sts
R2: inc, repeat 8 times, 16 sts
R3: (1sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 24 sts
R4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 32 sts
R5 to 12: ( 8 rounds), sc around, 32 sts
R13: change to blue yarn, sc around, 32 sts
R14: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 48 sts
R15: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 72 sts
R16 to 25: sc around, 72 sts
R26: (7 sc, dec) repeat 8 times, 64 sts
R27: (6 sc, dec) repeat 8 times, 56 sts
R28: (5 sc, dec) repeat 8 times, 48 sts
R29: (4 sc, dec) repeat 8 times, 40 sts
R30: sc around, 40 sts ( fasten off)
Leave long end for sewing.
Embroider mouth ( you can use pencil to sketch before embroider, it’s much easier.)
Cut white felt to make fangs.
Stuff firmly.

Eyes: ( make 2), using blue yarn.
R1: magic ring, 6 sc, 6 sts
R2: inc, repeat 6 times, 12 sts
R3: 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, 3 inc, total 18 sts ( fasten off)
Cut white and green felt to make eyes.
Attach safety eyes on.
Attach to front of the head.

Ears: (make 2), using black yarn
R1: magic ring, 4 sts
R2: (1 sc, inc) repeat 2 times, 6 sts
R3 to 5: ( 3 rounds), sc around, 6 sts
R6: (2 sc, inc) repeat 2 times, 8 sts
R7: sc around, 8 sts
R9: (3 sc, inc) repeat 2 times, 10 sts (fasten off)
No need to stuff.
Attach to top of the head.

Nose: using red yarn
R1: magic ring, 8 sc, 8 sts
R2: inc, repeat 8 times, 16 sts
R3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 24 sts
R4,5: sc around, 24 sts
R6: (1 sc, dec) repeat 8 times, 16 sts
R7,8,9: sc around, 16 sts (begin stuffing)
R10: dec, repeat 8 times, 8 sts (fasten off)
Attach to the place right below the eyes.

Whisker: (make 4), using yellow and black yarn
With yellow yarn, magic ring or ch 2, 5 sc into ring, 5 sts (fasten off)
Use yarn needle to thread black yarn for whisker.
Attach whiskers on cheeks.

Body: using blue yarn
R1: magic ring, 8 sc, 8 sts
R2: inc, repeat 8 times, 16 sts
R3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 24 sts
R4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 32 sts
R5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 40 sts
R6: (4 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 48 sts
R7: (5 sc, inc) repeat 8 times, 54 sts
R8 to 18: ( 11 rounds), sc around, 54 sts
R19: (5 sc, dec) repeat 8 times, 48 sts
R20 to 23: sc around, 48 sts
R24: (4 sc, dec) repeat 8 times, 40 sts
R25, 26: sc around, 40 sts (stuff and fasten off)
Leave long end for sewing.
Attach to the head.

Tummy: using white yarn

R4: (inc, 2 sc) repeat 6 times, 24 sts

Embroider the navel.
Attach to front of the body.

Arms: (make 2), using white and blue yarn. (work in join rounds from R1 to 9).
Start with white yarn.
R1: magic ring, 6 sc, 6 sts, sl stitch into 1st st to join, ch 1
R2: inc, repeat 6 times,12 sts, sl stitch into 1st st to join, ch 1
R3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times, 18 sts, sl stitch into 1st st to join, ch 1
R4,5,6: sc around, 18 sts, sl stitch into 1st st to join, ch 1
R7: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times, 12 sts, sl stitch into 1st st to join, ch 1

Attach to the hands.
