Mini wallet - free sewing pattern

My girly jeans always have small pockets, and I need a mini wallet which stay in these. This sewing tutorial is fast and easy to try but sure would be a lovely and useful gift for anyone.

Materials: ( I used )
Fabric (Taffeta type)
Felt
Velcro tape
Scissors
Sewing needle
Sewing thread
Sewing machine
Measuring tape & ruler
Tailor's chalk

Note: The size of this wallet is just your option. Wanna make bigger one? Just change the measurements and cut out bigger pieces. I suggest light, strong and durable fabric type for this pattern.

Cut 2 pieces of fabric and 1 piece of felt for the outer part:
13 cm x 22 cm (all same size)

Put the felt in between 2 pieces of cloth and sew around. The felt piece just make your outer wallet thicker. Then divide into 2/2/1 and top stitch as following image. The small section will be your wallet's flap.

Cut and sew a strap of velcro tape on the back side as the following image.

Cut a piece of fabric for the inner part: 12 cm x 22 cm and small pockets as your choice (which can store some coins and cards). I made 2 small ones for more room like these, zig zag stitch for open edges.

Cut a strap of velcro tape and sew on the front side of your inner wallet's part.

Sew inner part and outer part together.

After all, binding all around the wallet. Make a little decor as you wish and finish xD
