Cherry blossom applique - free crochet pattern

Cherry blossom or apricot blossom. It's just about the colors you choose.

Materials:
Your favourite hook size
Yarn: dark red, light pink
Yarn needle

Abbreviations:
Sc Single crochet
Ch = Chain
Sl = Slip stitch
   

Inc = Increase  
Dec = Decrease        
Tc = Triple crochet
Dc = Double crochet
Inc tc = 2 triple crochet in same stitch
Inc dc = 2 double crochet in same stitch
Hdc= half double crochet
Dec hdc= half double crochet 2 stitches together
Inc hdc= 2 half double crochet in same stitch


Start with dark red yarn, make a magic ring, 5 sc, fasten off the ring.


Change to light pink yarn, ch 2


 Then crochet all into same st: dc, tc, dc, ch 2, sl ( finish 1 petal )


Sl into next st, repeat the petal part: (ch 2, dc , tc, dc, ch 2, sl ) all into same st.

Repeat 5 times so you'll have a 5 petals cherry blossom. 


This is a mini version made from crochet thread and 2mm crochet hook :)
