Angry bird space version - Blue bird ( aka Lightning bird) - free amigurumi pattern

Materials:

5mm crochet hook

Yarn: blue, red, yellow

Needle or hot glue gun
Safety eyes

Black embroidery floss

Fiber fill

Felt: yellow, white 

Abbreviations:
Sc = Single crochet
Ch = Chain
Sl = Slip stitch
Inc = Increase
Dec = Decrease 
Tc = Triple crochet
Dc = Double crochet
Inc tc = 2 triple crochet in same stitch
Inc dc = 2 double crochet in same stitch
Hdc= half double crochet
Dec hdc= half double crochet 2 stitches together
Inc hdc= 2 half double crochet in same stitch


Head & Body: using blue and red yarn
Start with blue yarn
R1: magic ring, 5 sts
R2: inc, ( 5 times), 10 sts
R3: 1sc, inc, ( 5 times), 15 sts
R4: inc, 2sc, ( 5 times), 20 sts
R5: 3sc, inc, ( 5 times), 25 sts
R6: inc, 4sc, ( 5 times), 30 sts
R7: 5sc, inc, ( 5 times), 35 sts
R8 to R11: sc around, 35 sts
R12: change to red yarn, sc around 35 sts
R13 to R16: sc around, 35 sts
R17: 5sc, dec, ( 5 times), 30 sts
R18: dec, 4sc,( 5 times), 25 sts
R19: 3sc, dec, ( 5 times), 20 sts ( begin stuffing)
R20: dec, 2sc,( 5 times), 15 sts
R21: 1sc, dec, ( 5 times), 10 sts
R22: dec, ( 5 times), 5 sts ( fasten off)

Beak: using yellow yarn
R1: magic ring, 4 sts
R2: 1sc, inc, ( 2 times), 6 sts
R3: inc, 2sc, ( 2 times), 8 sts
R4: 3sc, inc, ( 2 times), 10 sts
R5: inc, 4sc, ( 2 times), 12 sts
R6: sc around, 12 sts ( fasten off)
Embroider with black floss.
Stuff a little and attach to the front of the body.

Cut white felt for white of the eyes, attach safety eyes on.

Cut yellow felt for helmet's wings.

Note: I planned to crochet with join-rounds technique for this little one but then I noticed that I can attach the beak on the place where I started to change from blue yarn to red yarn. So I just worked with continuous rounds, it's much easier and faster.
